Spry ("we", "us", "our") operates Life Coach AI, a mental wellbeing companion app.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Usage data: mood check-ins, chat messages with the AI coach, task completions, journal entries, and assessment responses (PHQ-9, detailed intake)
Device information: language preference and device type (for app functionality only)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Personalize your AI coaching sessions
Generate CBT-based tasks tailored to your goals
Track your mood patterns and progress
Improve app functionality and user experience
4. Data Storage & Security
Personal data (profile, mood, chat history, tasks, assessments) is stored locally on your device using SQLite.
Your email address, age, gender, focus areas, and Big Five personality scores are stored on Firebase servers for authentication and profile persistence.
Your personal health data is shared with the Gemini API for AI responses.
Chat session context is sent to the Google Gemini API for AI responses but is not stored by us.
Google Gemini API — processes chat messages to generate AI responses. Messages are sent per-session and not retained by us.
RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. Processes purchase data per their privacy policy.
Ad networks — free-tier users may see ads. Ad partners may collect device identifiers per their own policies.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data shared with third parties is limited to what is described in Section 5 above, and only to the extent necessary for those services to function.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your data using the export feature in the app
Delete your data using the delete feature, which removes all local data
Delete your account, which removes your Firebase authentication record
Opt out of ads by upgrading to a premium subscription
8. Children's Privacy
Life Coach AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey.
