How to Delete Your Account

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  1. Local data — All chat messages, journal entries, mood check-ins, task history, tracking data, and assessment results stored on your device (SQLite database)
  2. Cloud profile — Your profile document in Firebase Firestore (name, age, gender, focus areas, personality assessment)
  3. Authentication record — Your Firebase Authentication account and associated email address
  4. App preferences — Onboarding state, session timestamps, coach selection, and cached profile data
This action is irreversible. Once you delete your account, your data cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your data first using the Export Data feature.

Steps to Delete Your Account

  1. 1 Open Life Coach AI on your device
  2. 2 Go to the Profile tab (last tab in the bottom navigation)
  3. 3 Scroll down to the Data Management section
  4. 4 Tap "Delete All Data" (red button)
  5. 5 A confirmation dialog will appear — tap "Delete" to confirm
  6. 6 The app will clear all local data, delete your Firestore profile, sign you out of Firebase, and redirect you to the landing screen
Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active premium subscription, please cancel it separately through your device's app store settings before deleting your account.

Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Android: Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Alternative: Delete Data Only

The "Delete All Data" button removes both your data and your account. If you only want to remove your local data while keeping your account, this is not currently supported as a separate action. Deleting the app from your device will remove all locally stored data but will keep your Firebase account active.
